Glafira's Art School

For over 20 years, Glafira's Art School has been a place where creativity comes to life, imagination is encouraged, and young artists build confidence through art. We believe every student has a unique creative voice. Our goal is to help each artist discover their own style while developing strong technical skills and a lifelong love of art.

Our curriculum introduces students to a wide variety of artistic media and techniques, including pencil drawing, watercolor, acrylic, oil painting, ink, mixed media, wool painting, 3D paper design, and digital art. Along the way, students explore the elements of art, principles of design, composition, color theory, and art history. This comprehensive learning plan helps build a strong artistic foundation while developing students’ confidence, creativity, and their own unique artistic style.

Many of our students have continued their artistic journey by using the portfolios they create in my class to enroll in fine arts programs at high schools, art colleges and universities, transforming their passion into future careers and lifelong creative pursuits.

Glafira's Artworks

Glafira Marin is a Toronto-based visual artist and art educator whose practice spans acrylic painting, watercolor, and mixed media. Working in both figurative and abstract styles, she creates expressive works that explore intuition, memory, and the invisible connections that shape our inner and outer worlds. Through layers of color, texture, and symbolism, her paintings invite viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own personal narratives.

Glafira earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Design from the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts. Her artwork has been exhibited in galleries in Russia and Israel, and she continues her artistic practice while inspiring the next generation of artists through teaching.
